FEELING WOMAN

What does your inner femininity look and feel like?

Feeling Women is a participatory art project exploring the different qualities of femininity we carry within ourselves and how they can be expressed visually. Created for International Women’s Day, the project invited participants on a creative journey from inner reflection to collective expression.

The experience began with a guided meditation, creating space to connect with and sense their own femininity through colours, shapes, textures and surfaces. Participants then explored a collection of used and donated mixed-media materials, intuitively selecting fabrics, ribbons, magazines and objects that reflected the qualities they had discovered within themselves.

Through a hands-on process of cutting, shaping, layering and assembling, these individual expressions took shape and were brought together on a large shared artwork. The resulting textile collage became a collective composition of different feelings, perspectives and expressions of femininity.
